The Koa Dojo is affiliated to JKS  (Japan Karate Shotorenmei)

We are proud to announce that as of today we have re-affiliated with the federation JKS Scotland.

JKS Scotland are a huge arm of the global JKS federation. They are a well established community with over 7000 members across Scotland. JKS Scotland hold numerous competitions all year round as well as having a resident Japanese instructor on secondment in country at all times providing course instruction. This will bring more opportunity for exposure to new teaching and training perspectives than was previously possible.

We feel this is the correct move for our club and are all very excited by this new venture, both club instructors and students alike. We also hope this re-affiliation will bring more opportuny for growth of the club as well as a platform to gain competition experience and regular grading progress for our students.
